Definition of True Love
Love is an act 0f unconditional giving. True love happens when you are self accepting and pleased self.
You accept others as they are without expecting any change in them.
This is called unconditional Love.
Prerequisite of true love is mentioned in Bhagawat gita chapter 2 verse 55 as given below:
prajahāti yadā kāmānsarvānpārtha manōgatān |
ātmanyēvātmanā tuṣṭaḥ sthitaprajñastadōcyatē || 2.55 ||
When a person gives up all the desires as they appear in the mind, happy in oneself, with oneself alone,
that person is said to be one with firm knowledge.
1) True love is manifestation of one’s own inner fullness (Ananda). Seeing Sat (existence) Chit (awareness) Ananda (limitless happiness) as one’s intrinsic nature.
2) Love has no worries or fear of losing someone or something. If there are worries then it is mere attachment.
3) Love involves sincere unconditional caring for others.
4) Love is firm conviction that Isvara or some higher power is taking care of me at all times.
5) Love is non binding.
6) Love does not pull me down.
7) Love has no expectation or any desires.
